After 25 years in the medical field as a clinician and business owner, I made the switch to real estate. On the surface the two professions seem to be very different but in reality they are the same – they are both about listening carefully to what people need and doing everything I can to get them to where THEY want to be.  I am aware that everyone’s time is precious to them and I work hard to make the most of it for both myself and my clients.  I don’t cut corners, waste people’s time, waste anyone’s money or shirk responsibility. I do work harder than I have to because I love what I do and I thrive on helping others. I study the local real estate market and national trends on a daily basis. I make it my business to know what’s happening now and what’s likely to come. CAROLEE HAWKINS

COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE SPECIALIST, RESIDENTIAL BUYER SPECIALIST

Carolee Hawkins has been calling the western slope home since 2003. Having lived in both Grand Junction and Montrose, Carolee is keenly aware of why someone would like to make this area their home too. Her passion for real estate is fueled by ensuring her client’s experience is nothing short of top-notch. Communication is key to the buying process and that’s why Carolee takes the time to learn her client’s “WHY” so that she can handle the ”HOW.” She brings a solution-driven mindset and an upbeat attitude to all that she does, making the home buying process smooth and seamless. Carolee’s number one priority is her clients’ real estate goals! In 2022, Carolee was 16th in volume out of over 900 agents in the Grand Junction MLS. Carolee knows the in and outs of the Grand Valley real estate market.

Carolee makes use of technology to ensure clients moving from out of the area can easily view and preview videos of homes from anywhere in the world. Finding a home while not living in the area is definitely possible with the right communication and tools. Carolee enjoys answering questions about the area, and she loves to help her clients get settled and connected to the western slope way of life.

In her past careers, Carolee has worked in marketing, community outreach, and residential property insurance adjusting which has given her a solid construction background.

Originally from the front range of Colorado, Carolee ended up in the Grand Valley as her husband, Tyler, is originally from Palisade. As the locals know, if you don’t take the dirt with you when you leave, you’re destined to return! Carolee feels thankful that Tyler never took the dirt because the outdoor recreation and western slope lifestyle can’t be beat. When she isn’t with clients, you’ll find her and her husband along with their two kids mountain biking, golfing, hiking, camping, skiing, floating the river, and watching a variety of youth sports.

KIM SMITH

ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST

 Kim is the newest member of our team, but no stranger to the Real Estate business.  She comes to us with years of experience in RE as a Broker and Realtor in Arizona.  Her background has always been in service oriented industries.  Kim moved to Colorado to be close to her granddaughter and family.  When Kim is not in the office, you may find her camping in the woods with her family, rock climbing in Moab or checking out the Hot Springs Colorado has to offer.

MARKETING DIRECTOR

Chelsi is a Colorado Native who started calling the Western Slope home in 2005. Since then, she has had the opportunity to help many individuals, small businesses, and organizations “Get the word out” in about every advertising medium or social platform available. Chelsi loves to utilize that knowledge to provide a great experience for our clients and develop creative ways to stand out.  Showcasing the awesome properties our clients are selling keep her creative wheels spinning and her passion for our community growing.
